BUNGUBOX x Esterbrook Kachofugetsu Flower
The first release in the Kachofugetsu collection by Esterbrook in collaboration with BUNGUBOX is a limited edition fountain pen inspired by the Japanese concept of “Flower, Bird, Wind, Moon,” reflecting the fleeting beauty of Japan’s iconic cherry blossoms. Crafted from semi-translucent pink acrylic with gold-plated accents, it features a specially engraved nib and a floral-themed converter. The design blends Esterbrook’s timeless craftsmanship with BUNGUBOX’s distinctive Japanese aesthetic.
Please note that the Kachofugetsu Flower Estie does not include the cushion-cap closing system, so the closing feel may differ slightly from other Estie models. However, it still provides a proper seal to keep the nib in optimal condition, even if the spring-loaded sensation is less noticeable. As always, it meets Esterbrook’s high standards of quality and performance. Thank you for your understanding.
Japanese culture is rich with poetic expressions that celebrate the beauty of nature, and “Kachofugetsu” (flower, bird, wind, moon) is among the most evocative. Drawing on this concept, the Kachofugetsu Flower Fountain Pen embodies the graceful bloom of the Someiyoshino cherry tree, featuring a barrel adorned with delicate floral details.
