Eight: the magic number of Montegrappa!
Among the many details that characterize Montegrappa writing instruments and define the DNA of the brand, such as the clip with the typical rotating spherical ball that facilitates the insertion and removal of the pen from the pocket, it is mandatory to include the octagonal shape that has long been a distinctive element of the design of the Italian company. In 2012, the year of its centenary, Montegrappa relaunched the use of the often recurring eight-sided geometric shape in its models.
The octagon currently characterizes many Montegrappa writing instruments, including Reminiscence, Privilege, Symphony, Emblema and NeroUno. For 2014, the octagonal shape has been applied to one of the most long-lived models: the Extra 1930, creating the new Extra Otto collection.
